We believe that migration is a human right and that everyone should be treated equally. We organize protests and campaigns to make people aware of Europe's violent and deadly border policies and advocate for free migration. We also support aid groups in Bosnia, Serbia, and Lithuania. Our ideal world is one without borders and where everyone is equal. Hopefully, we will achieve that one day, but in the meantime, we must continue to fight, empower individuals and communities, and break down barriers. We also show solidarity with other organizations fighting for equal rights, anti-racism, decolonization, or other common interests.
As you may know, we are an independent organization that does not receive government funding. Our work is made possible by private donors like you.
So your support is essential to sustain our efforts and ensure that we can continue to make a meaningful impact. By contributing to MiGreat, you are investing directly in the fight for freedom of movement, advocating for justice, and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
With your donation:
1. We set up campaigns for an equal and just society where people can move freely.
2. We organize our annual national demonstration in June.
3. We provide financial support to local organizations on the European borders. Currently, these are Kompas 071 and Sienos Grupe.
4. We can spread our message more frequently and effectively with more people and more content.
5. We pay our team, consisting of 1.6 permanent employees and 2 to 4 rotating interns and volunteers who receive a volunteer allowance.
