Become a board member at MiGreat
We are looking for an experienced board member to strengthen our strategy and mission. Are you well-informed about migration policy and do you support activism, radical ideas, and civil disobedience? We would love to hear from you!
This is a volunteer position, requiring about 8 hours per month.
We hold regular board meetings on weekdays after working hours. Additionally, you'll need to be available for urgent ad hoc matters and to review the annual report.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A BOARD MEMBER
- You review our annual documentation and provide advice and support as needed.
- You oversee the overall strategy and its execution.
- You contribute to meetings and share insights to strengthen our organization.
- You fulfill a specific role such as chair, treasurer, or secretary.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- You support our mission, radical ideas, and civil disobedience.
- You have knowledge of migration policy or personal experience with migration restrictions.
- You are activist, anti-racist, and decolonial.
- Experience with activism, fundraising, campaigns, communication, strategy, HR, or finance.
- You live in the Netherlands.
- English is required, Dutch is a plus.
