Walking Fire
From March 1st to 17th, 2021, a large-scale action took place throughout the country: Walking Fire. Wakes were organized in seventy villages and cities, involving over four thousand demonstrators from all corners of the Netherlands who covered more than a thousand kilometers on foot, by bike, car, boat, and even horse.
The goal of this campaign was to advocate for a more humane Dutch and European migration policy. Since the action took place just before the parliamentary elections, we aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voting with consideration for refugees.
